Find the outlet
Search the directory and open the public profile you want to improve.
Community update guide
Found an outdated detail or a missing fact? Anyone can suggest an improvement. Every proposal is checked by PressPort staff before the public profile changes.
Three steps
Search the directory and open the public profile you want to improve.
The form starts with the profile’s current public information so you can change only what is needed.
Add your evidence URL, explain the correction, complete the human check, and send it for review.
What can be updated
You do not need to complete every field. Leave accurate information as it is and change only the details your source supports.
Outlet name, description, country, media type, coverage, circulation, and readership.
Geographic regions, editorial subjects, and keywords that make the outlet easier to discover.
Website, newsroom email, phone number, postal address, and location coordinates.
Evidence and review
A reviewer compares the fields you changed with the source you supplied. This protects the directory from accidental errors, unsupported claims, and automated submissions. If the proposal is accepted, the approved information is published on the media profile.
Providing your name and email is optional when you submit as a guest. Those details are used only if a reviewer needs clarification; they are not added to the public profile.
Common questions
Prefer the outlet’s own website, masthead, contact page, media kit, or another authoritative publication.
Use the add a media outlet form instead of updating an existing profile.
You can propose a newsroom email. Sign in if you need to reveal and verify the address already stored for the outlet.
