About Dagbladet Arbejderen
Arbejderen is the digital daily newspaper for the fighting spirit of Denmark. Our readers are active in the trade union movement, social resistance movements, the climate struggle, the housing movement, and the fight against racism and reactionary forces—as well as in the cause of peace and international solidarity. Arbejderen has no ambition to be the first to report the latest breaking news; instead, we aim to provide an overview and reveal the underlying connections within the constant stream of isolated news items. Arbejderen describes reality as it is, with the aim of changing it. Our goal is to deliver solid, high-quality "red" journalism. Left-winged journalism inspired by socialism, communism, and states like Venezuela and the likes. Arbejderen features no expensive commercials or distracting, flashing ads. We rely primarily on subscription revenue and contributions from our dedicated readers. Arbejderen has high ambitions but limited resources. We are a small media outlet with only a few employees, yet many volunteers.
