Overview
The audio newspaper Medlemsbandet contains information from the FSS and the district associations, addresses disability issues, monitors the press's attention to visually impaired issues and other things that may be of interest to the members. The band is published every two weeks in audio format (DAISY). The band has been published since 1967. Medlemsbandet is a members' magazine and it is the union's and district associations' straightest and fastest channel for information to members. The magazine is free of charge for members. Subscriptions are accepted by the office. The magazine can be read: - Via the FSS website - Via audio newspaper players (lent via FSS and Näkövammaisten liitto or Ålands Synskada) - Via mobile application, e.g. Dolphin Easy Reader. Material for the Medlemsbandet must be submitted no later than Monday at 13.00 in the same week as the magazine is published.
